You are functioning.
But something inside is broken.
In-person therapy for anxiety, trauma, grief, and burnout in Fort Lauderdale—with a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who accepts your insurance.
You might be here if….
You've been carrying something for a long time—and it's getting heavier.
Maybe you wake up already tired, even after a full night's sleep. Maybe you've built a career, a life, and a reputation—and still feel stuck, hollow, or like something is deeply wrong. You can't quite name it. You just know that what you're doing isn't working anymore.
You appear calm and capable on the outside, but feel overwhelmed inside
A past experience keeps surfacing—intrusive thoughts, flashbacks, a heaviness you can't shake
You've lost someone or something, and the grief feels impossible to move through
You're exhausted by your own mind—the rumination, the replaying, the what-ifs
You're burning out but can't slow down, even when you want to
You feel disconnected from your sense of purpose, from relationships, from yourself
If this sounds familiar, you are not broken. You may be carrying unprocessed trauma, unresolved grief, or a nervous system that has been in overdrive for too long. Therapy can help you change that.

How we can help:
EMDR Therapy: A research-backed approach that helps your brain reprocess traumatic memories that are stuck—so they stop triggering the same emotional responses. You don't need to relive every detail of what happened.
Trauma-Focused CBT: A structured approach that helps you identify how past experiences are shaping present thoughts and behaviors—and rewrite those patterns in a more grounded direction.
About Roman Lockshin, LMHC
Logotherapy: A meaning-centered approach particularly powerful for grief, burnout, and life transitions—when the question isn't just "How do I feel better?" but "What does any of this mean?"
My path to becoming a therapist is not a straight line—and I think that makes me better at this work.
I spent years as a concert violinist, then moved into finance, earning an MBA and becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) on Wall Street. Along the way, I navigated my own experiences with addiction, burnout, and the particular kind of emptiness that can come from achieving everything you set out to achieve—and still not feeling okay.
Those experiences shape how I work. I understand the pressure of high performance. I understand what it means to appear fine while feeling lost. And I know that real change takes more than symptom management.
