General Therapy Questions

Appointments & Policies

  • Sessions are by appointment only. We’re open Tuesday through Friday with flexible morning, afternoon, and evening availability.

  • We offer limited after-hours and weekend appointments. Contact us to discuss availability.

  • Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a full-session charge.

Insurance & Payment

  • Yes. We accept Evernorth, Cigna, Aetna, Optum/UHC, Medicare, and are out-of-network for BCBS/Florida Blue. For other plans, we can provide a superbill for possible reimbursement. Please contact your insurer to verify benefits and coverage.

  • Yes. We accept the same insurance providers for both in-person and online sessions. Let us know if you need help with verification.

    • Individual session (licensed therapist): $150

    • Individual session (pre-licensed therapist): $105

    • Couples session: $175

  • Yes! We offer complimentary consultations to help you find the right fit and explore your therapy goals.

Online & Telehealth Services

  • Telehealth includes therapy sessions conducted via video or phone, offering the same level of care in a more flexible, accessible format.

  • Yes. Research shows online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions. It’s convenient, confidential, and ideal for many types of emotional and relationship concerns.

  • After booking, we’ll send you a secure link to your session. You’ll need a device with internet access. Sessions last 55 minutes and are conducted on a HIPAA-compliant platform.

  • It’s a private video or phone session with your therapist, conducted just like an in-person visit. The first consultation is free, and we’ll use it to discuss your needs and goals.

  • The best therapy is one that meets your unique needs. At Serenity Space, we offer tailored care using evidence-based practices like CBT, EMDR, hypnotherapy, and more—all accessible through online sessions.

Specialties: Narcissistic Abuse Recovery

  • Yes. Virtual therapy offers the same guidance and support as in-person care, making recovery accessible from the comfort of your home.

  • Therapy focuses on rebuilding self-esteem, identifying abuse patterns, setting boundaries, and processing emotional trauma with compassionate, qualified professionals.
